Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced, according to Reuters, that Iran attacked an oil tanker in the Gulf last week.
This week, the Israeli newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, reported that “the Iranian Revolutionary Guard carried out a march attack on a merchant ship belonging to an Israeli businessman in the Gulf.”
In turn, Reuters had confirmed, quoting regional military sources, that “at least one ship owned by Israel was attacked in the Arabian Sea on February 10.”
This comes after the Iranian authorities accused Tel Aviv of being behind the drone attack on a center of the Iranian Ministry of Defense in Isfahan last month.
