Apart from making some of the best flagship devices your money can buy, IQOO It is a company that is known for making some of the best mid-range smartphones as well. It’s not just about premium hardware, it also comes at a very competitive price. The Chinese company is preparing to launch new mid-range smartphones very soon. The Vivo-owned company plans to launch the IQOO Z7 and IQOO Z7x within a couple of days.

The IQOO Z series forms part of the company’s mid-range phones. The vanilla IQOO Z7 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 695 chipset. If this turns out to be true, then this means that the device will not have any noticeable upgrade from the previous version when it comes to the chipset.
The IQOO Z6 also debuted last year with the Snapdragon 695 chipset, which doesn’t seem to be that bad for the price. There may be one or two improvements in other areas of the phone aside from the fact that the chipset will remain the same. However, rumors have indicated that the Chinese version may have a different chipset which we suspect is a MediaTek chip.
Unlike the IQOO Z7 and its predecessor, the Z6, the IQOO Z7x will feature an improved chipset over its predecessor. The Z7x is said to come with the Snapdragon 782 5G. This version has better performance than the Snapdragon 778G+ that comes with IQOO Z6 Pro and Z6x.
The truth is that minor chipset upgrades may be fine when discussing specs. But in real-world performance testing, it is very difficult to notice the performance difference. Other details such as memory size, memory type, and storage types can also contribute significantly to the speed and performance of a smartphone. 
What this means is that the device may have the same chip or a slightly different chip than its predecessor. But it may account for little or no portion of the performance difference. IQOO z7 and Z7x may come with some performance difference but it may not only depends on the chipset only.
IQOO Z7 and Z7x release date
IQOO has not confirmed the actual launch date, but the company has stated that the device will be launched soon. Soon it could be in a few days or a few weeks. But certainly not months.
