Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia The iPhone SE 2022 officially debuts at the Apple Event titled Peek Performance. The smartphone is sold starting at US $ 429 or Rp. 6.1 million.
The latest generation iPhone SE has the exact same body as the 2020 model. But Apple embed some new things in it.
For example, using the A15 Bionic chip used in the iPhone 13. This chip is claimed to provide faster processing, Apple says its new phone has a faster CPU and GPU.
One camera each is placed on the front and back of the phone. On the front camera is placed 7MP and 12MP for the back, quoted from Cnet, Wednesday (9/3/2022).
The A15 chip is said to also bring a number of camera-side improvements. Includes features like Smart HDR 4, Photographic Style, and Deep Fusion.
Like most cellphones today, the iPhone SE 2022 is also supported by the 5G network. Even so, Apple ensures that the battery life is much better than the 2020 iPhone SE.
Before the event took place a number of rumors had spread about the possible specifications of this iPhone SE 3. Unfortunately, not all the news came true.
One of them is that Apple did not embed the Face ID feature on the iPhone SE 2022. However, the Touch ID button is still physically available on the device.
The screen size is also still the same as the 2020 model and the iPhone 8, which is 4.7 inches. The back is made of glass.
There are three color choices for the iPhone SE this time, namely midnight (black), starlight (white), and Product Red. Apple also opened pre-orders on March 11 and the phone was available a week later.
