iPhone 12: unofficial but credible rates

The leaker and American analyst Jon Prosser revealed in a video the latest missing information on the iPhone 12. According to him, the cheapest model would start at $ 649 and the most expensive would be sold at a maximum price of $ 1,399.

It was perhaps the last piece of information we were missing before we could say that we know everything about Apple’s next smartphones. The very prolific leaker Jon Prosser indicated in one of his recent videos the price list of the four iPhone models of 2020. An interesting leak, but which is also not incredible as it is practically within everyone’s reach to guess the price of future iPhone. Spoiler : it doesn’t change much from year to year.

Starting price at $ 649

According to the analyst’s source, the iPhone 12 should start at $ 649, with 128 GB of storage. To benefit from the double, you would have to pay $ 749. The superior model, namely the iPhone 12 Max (at least the name given to it), would start at $ 749 (128 GB) and would be worth $ 100 more with 256 GB of storage. If we consider that this version is the continuation of theiPhone 11, we note that prices have not moved an iota.

For the two Pro models, the price list seems to evolve somewhat: some versions would see their price drop by $ 50. If the 12 Pro should still start at $ 999 (but for 128 GB of storage instead of 64 currently), the price for 256 GB of storage would drop to $ 1,099, and to $ 1,299 for 512 GB. Same case for iPhone 12 Pro Max. On this version, just add $ 100 to the prices of the iPhone 12 Pro. Note that with this batch of 2020, Apple seems to have eliminated the maximum capacity of 64 GB of storage on its iPhone – a choice that is not likely to be criticized by the public.

Jon Prosser also gave new information regarding the specifications of smartphones. The first two models should carry 4 GB of RAM, while the two Pro versions would be entitled to 6 GB of RAM. As we wrote at the start of the week, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max should have a ProMotion panel, that is to say with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On this subject, Jon Prosser indicates that the integration of technology is still subject to internal debate. The iPhone 12 Pro could be sold with the existing option, but deactivated by default. Its activation could therefore be done via an iOS update, but only if it does not impact the autonomy too hard.
