iPhone 12 is expected to launch at the end of 2020, and the launch date was leaked by Jon Prosser. When?
Prosser is known to often have accurate leaks about various Apple products. Now he publishes the launch times for a number of new Apple products, such as the iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, and the 8th generation iPad.
Apple itself has previously announced that they will delay the launch of the iPhone 12 for several weeks, as a result of the Corona pandemic which affects the production of their latest cellphone.
According to Prosser, iPhone 12 will be launched in a press conference to be held on 12 October. However, while Apple will be launching the entire iPhone 12 series on that date, the first sales will take place at a different time.
For example the lower priced iPhone 12 and 12 Max can be ordered a week after launch. However, the Pro variant is said to be ordered only in November, or a month after being launched.
Meanwhile, Apple Watch Series 6 and the 8th generation iPad will be launched at a different event, namely a month earlier. Usually, the two types of devices are launched together with the iPhone in September.
Apple, according to Prosser, will release the new iPad and Apple Watch on September 7 without major events. Apple will only spread press statements about the launch of its new product.
It is not yet known when the Apple Watch Series 6 and the 8th generation iPad will go on sale, but it shouldn’t be too far from the launch date, in contrast to the lineup. iPhone 12 which will be delayed, as quoted by detikINET from Phone Arena, Thursday (13/8/2020).
