New news comes just in these hours about theiPhone 12, the next high-end device that will be marketed by Apple starting next autumn (barring unforeseen circumstances); and what it seems to be much more than a mere corridor item refers to marketing. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 12 will be sold without a charger included in the package.
Neither charger nor EarPodsto be precise; this is what MacRumors reported and, in recent days, also from another source, Barclays. Everything therefore seems to coincide: the package iPhone 12, next fall 2020, will lack some accessories. Kuo said Apple will instead release a new 20W power supply as an optional accessory for iPhones, ending production of the 5W and 18W ones later in the year. The new one will be similar to the previous ones, complete with USB-C for fast charging.
Analyst Kuo believes that i iPhone 12 costs will be particularly high due to the introduction of 5G technology, and that the company’s intention is to sell the iPhone 12 to a price in line with that of the last iPhone 11; to do this it was necessary to reduce costs by eliminating chargers and AirPods.
