According to multiple testimonies, a notification required the user to sign back into their Apple ID account, for no apparent reason. An iOS bug creates panic among users
While most affected users show a notification on their iPhones, other Apple devices appear to be affected as well. On Reddit, someone explained that they noticed the issue on “two different devices/Apple IDs within ten minutes. And in Down Detector, we’re already seeing an increase in Apple TV reports.
However, Apple’s website dedicated to error reports does not indicate that there is an Apple ID problem in progress. So it is possible that you have not come across this error at all. If not, there appears to be a solution. Always on Reddit, one user pointed out that as soon as he restarted his iPhone, the notification stopped appearing.
