The Ministry of Health and Families has reported that they have been confirmed in Andalusia three new cases of coronavirus with a unknown origin at the moment, so the total figure of 42 patients.
In a statement, the Andalusian Government has explained that, specifically, it is a 40-year-old man, admitted to the San Agustín de Linares hospital, in Jaén; a 53-year-old man, admitted to the Costa del Sol hospital in Malaga, and a 77-year-old man, admitted to the Vithas Xanit International hospital in the province of Malaga.
As detailed by the regional Administration, the three patients have pneumonia and none of them have reported contact with another affected person or travel to one of the areas where a high number of cases occurs, such as China or Italy, so their origin.
These cases are pending confirmation from the National Center for Microbiology. Likewise, the prevention protocols ruled by the Ministry of Health to determine the possible direct contacts that these patients have had.
For its part, the rest of the cases decreed in Andalusia do not report changes since the last statement.
