But if Bobby Lashley wants to win the WWE Championship, it is mainly for his family. “Everything I do in my career is for my family, for my children”, before adding that his greatest pleasure is seeing his children take pictures with the belts he won. Indeed, in 16 years, Bobby Lashley has won multiple titles such as the United States Championship or the Intercontinental Championship. Always considered as a serious contender for a world championship, the wrestler knew how to “work smarter” to be able to achieve his ends. Bobby Lashley has never stopped wrestling. He who describes wrestling as being an environment with its ups and downs, has always trained relentlessly. “The harder you work, the luckier you become,” says the wrestler.
A perseverance that has motivated him since his comeback. Despite having been part of storylines poorly received by fans, Bobby Lashley does not regret anything. “I don’t regret the storyline with Sami Zayn or the one I had with Lana. I was ready to do the show and pay my debts to the company. ” declares the title contender. Despite everything, his current run at WWE is mainly marked by the formation of Hurt Business. A clan also made up of MVPs, who returned to the company in 2020, as well as Shelton Benjamin and later Cedric Alexander. The idea of forming a clan comes from MVP and Bobby Lashley. “We wanted to create a clan by choosing the most talented wrestlers in the ring but who would also be our friends behind the screen”, specifies Bobby Lashley.

The contender for the title of WWE champion does not finally rule out the arrival of a wrestler in the clan. “If we were to welcome a wrestler into the clan, it would be Naomi. She’s at the top of the list ”.
Finally, Bobby Lashley also touched on a possible confrontation with Brock Lesnar. Indeed, if this match is a dream poster for many fans, Bobby Lashley seems to be focused on something else. “Drew McIntyre beat Brock last year and he beat Goldberg this year. He’s the real man to kill now. ” he declares. He adds by specifying that many wrestlers wish to be the best but that “to be the best, you have to beat the best” as an old man said so well. If Brock Lesnar no longer appears to be a priority for Bobby Lashley, there is no doubt that Drew McIntyre is.
The 43-year-old wrestler is ready and determined for his match on Monday.
