Top clubs are listening: international top striker is now for sale for 130 million

Victor Osimhen seems to have found a way out at Napoli. The 24-year-old top striker has reached an agreement in principle on the extension of his contract, reports Fabrizio Romano. In exchange for a contract that is valid for one year longer (until mid-2026), Osimhen will receive a release clause of around 130 million euros.
Osimhen has been one of the most coveted strikers at Europe’s top clubs for years. Napoli absolutely did not want to cooperate with a transfer in recent years, but is now at peace with the departure of the star from the team.
Osimhen’s market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 120 million euros. Top clubs in need are not expected to hesitate to activate the buyout clause in the Nigerian’s new contract, which will be close to his market value.
Chelsea seems to be the main candidate to acquire Osimhen. According to The Telegraph, the Blues want to add a new number 9 to the selection in any case. Osimhen himself would be interested in an adventure at Stamford Bridge.
Napoli has a TikTok video
At the end of September, a rift threatened between Osimhen and Napoli, after the Italian top club posted a bizarre video on its official TikTok account. After Osimhen missed a penalty in the match against Bologna (0-0), Napoli posted a video mocking the striker.
Agent Roberto Calenda immediately announced that he was considering legal action, but Osimhen and Napoli made peace. “Coming to Naples in 2020 was a great decision,” the striker said via Instagram.
Napoli transferred 75 million euros to Lille OSC for the services of Osimhen three years ago. The attacker has since produced 66 goals and 16 assists in 116 official matches for the Italian top club.
