Inter has kept their slim hopes of competing for the Serie A title this season, after turning 0-1 behind its host Parma to an exciting 2/1 victory today Sunday in the 28th stage of the competition.
The balance of Inter, who returned to the road to victories after drawing disappointing 3/3 with its guest Sassuolo in the last stage, rose to 61 points in third place, eight points behind Juventus (the leader), ten stages before the end of the championship.
On the other hand, Parma’s credit was frozen at 39 points in eighth position.
Parma took the lead by its Ivorian veteran Gervinho in the 14th minute, but Dutchman Stephen de Frey equalized for Inter in the 84th minute.
Parma played ten men after the Slovak player Juraj Kotska was sent off in the 85th minute, so Inter could take advantage of the numerical deficiency in the ranks of his opponent, and add the second goal through his young player Alessandro Bastone in the 87th minute.
