As you already know, and if we don’t remind you, Instagram on Windows 10 is a Progressive Web Application (PWA). Its application was nefarious and it was not worth it due to its many problems. Yes, a native app is better as long as it is up to the task. Now with the PWA we have a much better version.
Discover the new way to view Stories in Windows 10
Before we had to see Instagram Stories just like on our smartphone. However, with the new design Stories are now displayed sequentially. This allows us to preview the Stories of 5 users onscreen.
In addition, Instagram has incorporated new animations to view the Stories. And since we can preview five different ones, we can go directly to one of them by clicking. On the other hand, we can comfortably silence the Stories with just one click.
As the websites are not free of errors, the Instagram team has also announced that they have solved some errors. The Instagram PWA continues to grow and allows us to have the feeling of a native application in Windows 10. We hope it continues to improve so that we do not miss having a native app.
In addition, this PWA will allow us to use the application in Windows 10X, Microsoft’s new bet, and to install it from Microsoft Edge. Great news is this improvement of the Facebook people in their Progressive Web Application.
