Instagram introduces ‘bug’ that limits actions in the app on Monday | Technology

Users around the world reported difficulties using the Instagram this Monday (2). Many people said they saw a window that claims the app “limited how often you can perform certain actions.”

The DownDetector website, which gathers reports of instability, registered problems in Brazil around 5:25 pm (GMT), with more than 340 complaints of instability. In the American version of this service, the social networking page had more than 3,000 trouble records.

Complaints on the site became less frequent around 6:10 pm. Because of the flaw, the term “Instagram” came to appear among the 10 most commented on Twitter.

Instagram told G1 that the situation has been resolved.

“Earlier today, a technical problem caused some people to have difficulty posting and viewing content on Instagram,” the social network said. “We resolved the issue as quickly as possible and apologized for any inconvenience.”
