What is the Easy Access Zone and who is it for?

– We have received numerous requests for such additional functionality for a long time. Today we respond to this demand by listening to the voice of our customers. We have prepared a special option in ours application – said the president of InPost, Rafał Brzoska.

As you can read on InPost blog, any person who needs it will be able to use the function. However, the company asks you to use it responsibly, because if you run out of free lockers in the Facilitated Access Zone, delivery man will have to put the parcel in another. The new option is intended in particular for people with disabilities, as well as for those of a shorter height, for whom it is often impossible to pick up a parcel from higher-located lockers.

InPost parcels will be delivered to a parcel locker in one day. One condition

How to use the Facilitated Access Zone?

The function with the new facility must be selected in application mobile InPost – which can be easily downloaded to the phone. Enter the details of the shipment and activate the Facilitated Access Zone. However, it should be remembered that in order to use the Facilitated Access Zone, it is best to select this option at the very beginning (after receiving the notification about sending the package). If the status of the shipment already changes to “out for delivery”, the option to use this function will disappear.
