Secretary PWNU Syria Central Java, KH Imam Sya’roni, died on Monday (20/12/2021).
KH Imam Sya’roni died at around 05.30 WIB on his way to Muktamar NU ke Lampung.
The body is currently still at the RSCM Jakarta.
Chairman of PW GP Ansor Central Java, H Sholahuddin Aly or Gus Sholah who also happens to be on his way Lampung, confirmed the news.
“That’s right, so traveling by train from Semarang to Gambir Station wants to change to air transportation or to the airport,” he said.
After getting off the car, the group then performed the Dawn Prayer.
“After the Fajr prayer, while waiting for the itinerary, having coffee with the group then he didn’t feel well, said goodbye to want to relax for a while, it turned out that he was unconscious,” he said.
The group then called the medical team, then they were taken to the RSCM by ambulance and it was confirmed that KH Imam Sya’roni had died.
Meanwhile, in the delegation there was also the Head of PWNU Central Java KH Ahmad Muzammil, and Rois PWNU Syria Central Java KH Ubaidillah Shodaqoh.
KH Imam Syaroni is the caretaker of the As Sa’adah Islamic Boarding School Terboyo Semarang.
This PWNU group is on their way to Muktamar NU from Lampung which will be held on 22-23 December 2021.
“This is in the process of administrative completion, later it will be brought to Semarang by the family,” said Gus Sholah.
Gus Sholah himself is on his way to Lampung together with a number of Central Java GP Ansor PW administrators.
“We also happened to be on our way to Lampung. We were contacted to immediately dock to Gambir, it turned out that there was this sad news. We are very saddened,” said Gus Sholah
