CONAKRY- Sports Minister Lansana Bea Diallo lays the first stone of an entertainment center for young people. This project, which is financed to the tune of nearly one billion Guinean francs by the Guinean State with the support of the national support committee of Syli, will make it possible to provide Guinean youth with a sports and leisure space. adequate.

This center includes several infrastructures, in particular, a football field which will be built on 100 by 60 meters, a basketball court, volleyball court, Handball court, a grandstand, offices, toilets and a green space. In his speech, Sports Minister Lansana Béa Diallo believes that the diversification of infrastructure will give girls the chance to practice sport in the same way as men.

We would also like to see girls doing sport, that’s why it’s important to diversify sport and that these spaces are open to everyone. “says the Minister of Sports and Youth.

From now on, the department of youth and sports sets itself the challenge of building this kind of sports leisure center in several districts and municipalities of Conakry, and even inside the country, to allow the juvenile layer to flourish. .

For his part, the Director General of the National Leisure Office, Mamdou Baïlo Barry says: ” Beyond whether leisure is relaxation or fulfillment, leisure is a factor in the creation of wealth, employment and empowerment of young people, leisure also makes it possible to fight against the rural exodus, migration and the juvenile delinquency that we experience today. This is to say that today we have the will to accompany the people of Guinea in order to offer a quality life to the citizens. « .

This construction project will be carried out on an area of ​​one hectare, for a period of execution of two (2) months, according to the initiators.
