“Informative psychological special operations are most often aimed at several goals at once. And in this case we see different goals, namely, on the one hand, to sow panic among the population, among Ukrainians, including in border areas. And to disorient the Ukrainian Defense Forces, to scatter forces, to displace forces from other directions. The object and goals of this special psychological information operation are also Belarus itself and the Belarusians. To do it in such a way as to drag Belarus itself into a full-scale war,” Yusov said.
He stressed that understanding the enemy’s goals is very important.
“We are not saying there is no threat from the Lukashenko regime. There is, and Lukashenko is helping Putin with weapons, munitions and armored vehicles. He is offering his airspace for strikes against Ukraine, but today he is not we can say that there will soon be a full-scale invasion and the involvement of Belarus in a ground operation,” Yusov stressed.
According to Yusov, the Russian contingent on the territory of Belarus is growing. However, the Belarusian strike group that could carry out such an operation has not been created.
“And if such an attempt is made with the current forces of the Belarusian army, it will be sheer suicide for both the Belarusian army and the Lukashenko regime,” Yusov said.
