Informant Hamer talks to seven parties, including SP and CU at the table

Informant Hamer has invited seven parties to discuss a recovery plan after the corona crisis. These are VVD, D66, CDA, SP, PvdA, GroenLinks and the ChristenUnie. Their conversation will start tomorrow at 9.30 am.

Hamer is looking into how a new cabinet can be formed. The first step is to reach agreement on the so-called ‘recovery and transition policy’ after the corona crisis. This plan must become an important basis for a new coalition agreement.

Last week, Hamer announced that he was going to talk to “clusters” of political parties. Last weekend she thought about which parties she wanted to discuss with each other. After this first group, two more clusters will come along this week. All parties are discussed once.

The press release of the Bureau Spokesmanship of the Cabinet Formation states that Hamer came up with the classification “on the basis of their substantive input” during previous conversations with her.
