The Institute of the National Fund of the Housing for the Workers (Infonavit) relaunched the Discount Program for Early Settlement, with which the borrowers will be able to pay between 5 and 40% less than the total balance of their debt if liquidate their financing in a single exhibition.

The credits considered in this program must be valid for at least 10 years and the original amount of the financing must be less than or equal to 236 times minimum wage (VSM).

Discounts are applied to all types of credits, except Infonavit Total, Infonavit Total AG, Mejoravit, Arrendavit, Tu Casa es posible, Tu2doCrédito, Comply Account and Shared Responsibility; regardless of whether the borrower pays her financing on her own, when she loses her job and is considered in the Extraordinary Amortization Regime (REA), or via payroll in the Ordinary Amortization Regime (ROA).
To determine whether a credit can apply to an early settlement discount, borrowers must enter My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx) and make the inquiry in the Balances and Movements section.
In case the credit is eligible for this program, the amount to be paid with the discount will be indicated. When making this payment, the total balance of the mortgage debt is settled.
Workers can also find out if their credit is eligible for the Early Liquidation Discount Program through Infonatel (800 008 3900) or at a Service Center Infonavit.
