Infinix Hot 40 Pro: Specifications and Features of the Newest Infinix Series

Infinix Hot 40 Pro is the highest version of the Hot 40 line series. On Thursday (7/12/2023), smartphone manufacturer Infinix launched their newest series, namely the Hot 40 series, to the global market. The latest HP Infinix series includes three models, namely Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40 and Hot 40i.

All three smartphones are equipped with a large battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and an Xboost Gaming Engine to optimize device performance when users use it to play games.

Apart from that, there is a Magic Ring feature that resembles the Dynamic Island embedded in the iPhone 14 Pro. This feature, which is located in the punch hole on the cellphone screen, has the ability to change its size, for example extending to the left and right when the user receives a call or notification.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro and its Specifications

The Hot 40 Pro stands out among the three. Internally, this device is powered by the Helio G99 System-on-Chip (SoC) which uses 6 nm fabrication.

This chipset is supported by 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB/256 GB UFS 2.2 storage options. There is the ability to expand RAM up to 8 GB using the Extended RAM feature.

As the most sophisticated model, this HP Infinix offers a number of mainstay features that are not available on the other two models. For example, on the screen, this cellphone is equipped with a 6.78 inch IPS LCD screen with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.

This screen not only has a peak brightness of up to 500 nits, but also provides a comfortable experience for scrolling activities thanks to a high 120Hz refresh rate with a pixel density of up to 396ppi. Apart from that, Infinix has also equipped this cellphone with stereo speakers to support better sound quality.

In the top center of the screen, the Hot 40 Pro has a punch hole module which houses a 32 MP selfie camera. This camera is complete with artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Another interesting feature of the Infinix Hot 40 Pro is the Magic Ring which can change the size of the punch hole to display call notifications, face lock status, charging and other information.

In the camera sector, this smartphone has a 108 MP main camera (with HM6 sensor, pixel size 0.64 micrometers) with a 2 MP macro camera that uses AI technology.

Available photography and videography features include Professional Portrait Mode, Sky Remap, and Dual View Video.

This rear camera is arranged in a zigzag manner in a rectangular module and is equipped with an LED flash.

This device is supported by a large capacity battery, namely 5,000 mAh which supports fast charging with 33 Watt power. The claim is that this battery can charge from 20 percent to 75 percent in 35 minutes.

This Infinix smartphone battery also has a high lifespan, users can recharge it up to 1,600 times. This is equivalent to more than four years of use. Another feature available is Ultra Power Saving Mode.

This feature allows users to make phone calls for 2 hours when the remaining battery power is only five percent. This phone runs the Android 13 operating system with the XOS 13.5 user interface.

Additional features on this Infinix HP include a microSD card slot and Metamaterial Antenna which can increase file download speeds by up to 68 percent, increase signal strength by up to 6 dB, and reduce game latency by 36 percent.

Another innovation on the Infinix Hot 40 Pro is the Xboost engine. This is a special game launcher that is able to increase stability during gaming. The colors available for the Pro version are Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, Starlit Black and Starfall Green. (R10/HR-Online)
