Infinity Ward is working on a duo option for Call of Duty: Warzone – Gaming – News

Call of Duty: Warzone gets a duo option, where teams of two compete against each other in the battle royal game. Developer Infinity Ward confirms that, but it is not yet known when the option will come. The code already contains references to duo mode.

In a interview with the French GamerGen developers say the option for duos will be added in the future. In Pillage mode it was possible to play in a team of two, but according to the developers there are still ‘details to be improved’.

A Twitter user who regularly dives into the code of Call of Duty games, found a list in it with several new modes for Warzone. It lists several variants of a duo mode. Also included are options like Infinite Gulag, Most Wanted, and Run Like Hell.

The code also provides information about some of the new modes. It is not yet clear when they will be added; presumably it also concerns a number of temporary options. Duo mode would be permanently added to the game, in addition to the options to battle alone or in teams of three or four players.
