In Russia, 10,102 new infections with the coronavirus have been registered in the past 24 hours. The day before, 10,581 new infections were confirmed, said the Corona crisis center. The virus was thus detected in a total of 155,370 people across the country. Another 95 people died in connection with an infection, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1451. Russia is currently the country with the most new infections every day in Europe.
The Corona tests in Russia have been expanded significantly in recent weeks. According to experts, significantly more cases have been identified. President Vladimir Putin recently described the situation as “very difficult”. Despite the steady increase in the number of infections, the Kremlin held out the prospect of a gradual relaxation of the exit restrictions from May 12. Two doctors dead after lintel

The doctor fell from the second floor of a hospital in the Voronezh region on Saturday. Shulepov was admitted to the clinic on April 22 after a corona test was positive. The same day he complained in a video that he was forced to work despite being infected. At the same time, he criticized the lack of protective masks.
Elena Nepomnyashchaya, chief physician of a hospital in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, died a day earlier after spending a week in intensive care. According to information from the local TV station TVK Krasnoyarsk the doctor dropped out of an office on the fifth floor after a conference call with the head of the regional health ministry. During the conversation, the admission of corona patients was discussed, the broadcaster said. Nepomnyashchaya is said to have rejected the request because insufficient protective equipment would be available.
Already on April 24, doctor Natalya Lebedeva died in Moscow after falling from the sixth floor of a hospital. The head of an emergency room in the city of Svyosdny Gorodok, where the training center for Russian cosmonauts is located, is also said to have been infected with the corona virus. The hospital said in a statement of a “tragic accident”. The daily newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets“speculated that Lebedeva had committed suicide. Previously, she had been accused of infecting colleagues with the corona virus.
