Trucks carrying humanitarian aid enter Gaza Strip, Indonesian volunteers report
Indonesian volunteers provide essential aid in Gaza Strip
Trucks carrying humanitarian aid have successfully entered the Gaza Strip, according to Indonesian volunteers from the organization MER-C (Medical Emergency Rescue Committee). Fikri Rofiul Haq and Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, two dedicated Indonesian volunteers, have confirmed the delivery and distribution of wheat flour and food packages to the southern Gaza cities, particularly Khan Younis which has borne the brunt of recent Israeli military aggression.
Although aid in the form of wheat flour has already reached several refugee camps, the intensity of Israeli bombardments has hindered the complete distribution of food packages to all areas that are in dire need.
Haq mentioned that Gaza faces a critical need for additional aid, including tents and warm clothing for the affected population. However, the process of getting aid from Egypt to Gaza is both time-consuming and extremely challenging, primarily due to the Israeli government’s requirements for entry. Unfortunately, many aid items have been damaged during Israeli inspections, further aggravating the situation.
