The addresses of the industrial estates of the region of A coruña have sent their companies the protocol drawn up by the Confederation of Galician entrepreneurs that contains the health recommendations of the Xunta de Galicia in relation to coronavirus.

In companies like Inditex or the old Alcoa and in financial entities teleworking is being encouraged and employees are being isolated from critical areas to guarantee the operation of the different companies. At all times, the aim is to reduce the frequency and type of contact between people that are not necessary.

The fashion multinational Inditex had already adopted a series of preventive measures to reduce the possibility of contagion of coronavirus at its headquarters in Arteixo. In an internal statement addressed to its workers, the company stated that, within the recommendations of the health authorities, it is intended to reduce the frequency and type of contact between people that are not necessary. With that goal, bus service and gym service were suspended.

Inditex too temporarily suspended visits of people who do not work in the facilities, unless they are strictly essential. The multinational has started to implement shifts in its dining room to space the influx to the service.

It indicates in the aforementioned internal communication that if an employee cannot access the assigned shift, they can order their food at their table.
