Hyderabad: Indian Test player Hanuma Vihari has resigned as the captain of the Andhra Pradesh cricket team. Vihari’s unexpected move comes hours before the Ranji Trophy cricket match against Mumbai starts today.

Senior batter Ricky Bhui is the captain instead. Andhra and Mumbai will face each other at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground. Ricky Bhui said that Hanuma Vihari resigned due to personal reasons.
