Ahmedabad: The Kangaroos got off to a shaky start in the fourth Test between India and Australia at Ahmedabad, with Australia at 75 for 2 at lunch. Usman Khawaja and captain Steve Smith are at the crease with 27 runs. The wickets of openers Travis Head and Marnes Labuchane were lost. Before the Test, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese went around the venue and greeted the players of both the teams.

The BCCI shared a video on Twitter of the two Prime Ministers being given a rousing welcome at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The captains of both the teams greeted the teams. There was great noise and shouting from the crowd.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Australian captain Steve Smith introduced Prime Minister Modi and Anthony Albanese to the rest of the team.
Trailing 1-2 in the four-match series, Australia won the toss and opted to bowl against India. Both captains received Test caps from their respective prime ministers before the toss.
Replaced Mohammad Siraj for India. One of the changes in the team is that Shami will enter the match. Australia have nothing but the World Test Championship final ahead of them. The Indian team is entering the fourth match with high expectations.
