India-England ODI series; Spectators have no access

Spectators will not be allowed to enter the stadium during the ODI series between India and England. The BCCI has decided not to allow spectators inside the stadium amid the spread of Kovid in Maharashtra. England will also play in the five-match T20 series in Ahmedabad after the fourth Test. The next ODI series will be played in Pune.

The ODIs will be played on March 23, 26 and 28. If Kovid is not under control in Maharashtra ahead of the ODI series, the BCCI is considering playing ODIs in Ahmedabad itself.

Meanwhile, Indian pacer Jaspreet Bumra withdrew from the fourth Test against England. Bumrah has asked the BCCI to take leave from the fourth Test for personal reasons. Following this, Bumrah was given leave. He was earlier rested for the second Test as well. But the replacement did not include anyone.
