If you have a subordinate employment relationship with an employer, the employer is obliged to pay the authority the equivalent of 5% of the worker’s integrated daily salary, which is made up of the worker’s daily earnings, which includes salary and benefits.
To access a higher credit, workers have the possibility of making contributions, which will be deposited in the voluntary contributions subaccount. With the prior consent of the worker, the money in this subaccount can be transferred to the housing subaccount, in order to obtain a higher credit with Infonavit.

What are the requirements to make voluntary contributions?
Workers without a current employment relationship must register in My Infonavit Account, in the next league.
In the case of workers whose employment relationship is in force, the balance is considered as part of the prequalification and for the settlement of the debtor by origination.
The limit of voluntary contributions is 5% of 25 monthly minimum wages. That is, 5 thousand 384.6 pesos.
How to do it?
In the portal My Account Infonavit, in the section “My Savings” and in the option “Extraordinary Contributions” the menu is displayed in which the amount that you wish to voluntarily contribute is displayed. There the payment form with capture line is generated, which will be sent to your email.
There are several forms of payment, such as a bank window, smart ATMs, and mobile applications.
The contributions you make will not be reflected in the housing balance of your Afore. To consult it, go to My Infonavit Account and see your summary of movements. You will find voluntary contributions in the concept “Only Infonavit”.
