This was ordered by the director of the Sofia Health Inspectorate
By order of the director of the Sofia Health Inspectorate, the capacity of the beds for patients with COVID-19 in the capital’s hospitals is increased by another 20 percent. This happens after the incidence in Sofia reached 500 per 100 thousand people.
The Sofia Health Inspectorate has given until Tuesday to restructure the hospitals.
The order states that the increased capacity is not required for other wards that are not directly related to the treatment of COVID-19.
