Inchjo’stobre: to your felts! | Corse Matin

As of October 1, the Inchjo’stobre returns with 31 words given by 31 new artists. Always sponsored by La P’tite Usine de Bastia, the challenge of American origin, Corsican version, will bring together for this year a whole community of artists

Here we go again ! “We renewed 100% of the list”, rejoice Laure and Cédric from La P’tite Usine. No competition here, just the expression of talents, amateurs and professionals. And the couple notes that even without consulting each other, the designers had ideas linked to each other. Like these two artists who proposed ” all ” and ” nothing “. Obviously placed one after the other. For the general theme, we see that the news influenced them. ” Each artist brings his universe with his word. There are many questions about society, ecology … And it gives hope to see them pass messages through art “, Laure analysis.

As always, the event will end with a major exhibition scheduled for November 5 at L’Alb’Oru. A victory since last year, the fault of the Covid, the meeting had been canceled. But suddenly, for the 2021 edition, it is not 31 artists but 62 who will be honored since those (the 31 word givers) who were unable to do so in 2020 will also be in the game. .

The idea? Prepare your month of challenge with the basic material (ink, markers, notebooks, etc.) and especially the list of words in preview. “The concept is to think that even someone who does not know how to draw can get started by buying this box and it will cost him 1 euro per day”, says Laure. The novelty ? The famous golden ticket hidden in one of the boxes (as in Charlie and the chocolate factory). Whoever falls on it will be entitled to a voucher in addition to 100 euros. “We put a little bit of a dream in a box. “

So on your marks, get set … go!
