“Inbalance Grid Enters Latvian Market with Innovative Electric Car Charging Solutions”

With the aim of making electric car charging stations more accessible and improving mobility solutions, an innovative provider of electric car charging infrastructure solutions is entering the Latvian market – Inbalance grid.

The solutions developed, manufactured and managed by the company are aimed at optimizing electricity consumption and help to meet the growing demand for electric car charging stations without changing the existing electricity network infrastructure. The first charging stations in Latvia were already installed last year, and the latest 10 charging points installed this year are located in AKROPOLE Alfa and AKROPOLE Rīga shopping centers. The company plans to continue development and expand its operations by investing in and improving the infrastructure of public charging networks.

Inbalance grid was founded in Lithuania and has now expanded to all Baltic countries. The company has installed almost 400 electric car charging ports in the Baltics. 28 of them are located in Latvia – in the mentioned shopping centers, as well as Hampton by Hilton Riga Airport, while private charging points are available at Ignitis Latvija, SEB financial center and Easy Park offices.

“Our ambition is to create a new and sustainable electric car charging network in the Baltics. We are focused on developing solutions for a problem that our consumers will face only tomorrow. Large infrastructure objects and buildings are already running out of additional capacity, which is needed for innovative solutions, such as electric car charging stations The solution we have developed allows you to create an electric car charging infrastructure in this type of facilities without large investments,” explains Simonas Stankus, CEO of Inbalance grid.

The company Inbalance grid was founded in 2019. So far, the company has attracted investments in the amount of 3.8 million euros and installed almost 400 charging ports for electric cars in the Baltics.

The company employs 25 employees and cooperates with such brands as Vinted, SEB, Maxima, Newsec, Eften Capital, Baltic Horizon. Inbalance grid operates and manages electric car charging stations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Expansion of operations in the Polish market is planned this year.
