INAEM cancels all its shows this weekend due to the storm

Madrid, Jan 9 (EFE) .- The National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) has canceled all its shows this weekend in the Community of Madrid due to the snowstorm.

The INAEM has announced this Saturday that the shows are canceled: “The incredible story of Juan Latino” at the Teatro de la Zarzuela “Macbeth”, “Conservando la memoria” (both at the María Guerrero Theater), the International Theater Book Fair and “Álex” (at the Valle-Inclán Theater) of the Centro Dramático Nacional (CDN).

A closure that also affects “The comedy of wonders” (Theater of Comedy), of the National Classical Theater Company (CNTC) and the concert of the cycle ‘Discover … let’s know the names’ (National Auditorium), of the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain (OCNE), and the concerts organized by Excellence in the National Auditorium will not be held either.

According to sources from the INAEM, the tickets purchased through its website or the telephone channel will be automatically reimbursed on the purchase card. Tickets purchased at the box office will be returned there from Monday, January 11, or electronically by filling out a form that appears on their website.

In the same vein, the Teatros del Canal also suspend all the functions programmed in their halls for today and Sunday tomorrow and cancel the activity in the dance studios of the Canal Choreographic Center.

Due to the meteorological situation in the Community of Madrid and the forecasts made by the emergency services, the theaters of Grupo Pentación La Latina, the Teatro Bellas Artes and Teatro Reina Victoria will remain closed today Saturday.

Spectators who had purchased their tickets in advance will be able to exchange them for another day or request a refund of the amount of the same. The return will be made through the same channel through which they were purchased.

The Smedia Group that manages the Edp Gran Vía theaters, the Cofidis Alcázar Theater, the Fígaro Theater, the Small Gran Vía Theater, the Capitol Gran Vía and the Royal Carlos III Theater in Aranjuez has also canceled the performances scheduled for this Saturday.

The Pavón Teatro Kamikaze also cancels its show tonight and keeps tomorrow’s show waiting for how the situation evolves. While the Infanta Isabel Theater also closes its doors.

The Toundra group, which was to offer a double concert tomorrow at the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao, canceled their performance as they were unable to travel from Madrid, so the theater has canceled both concerts and the amount of the tickets will be refunded. EFE
