Unknown persons launched a lit rocket at the Buen Samaritano home, in the municipality of Veracruz, which caused a fire that consumed the bedroom and facilities where 18 minors live.
The boys were having dinner when the accident occurred, so they could get to safety and leave the scene before it was ravaged by flames.
The hostel is located on Xelha Manzana 16 Lote 8, between Uxmal and Cabak, colonia Chalchihuecan, to the north of the city.
Via social networks, members of the family home have asked for support for the little ones who live there, as they have lost clothes, food, appliances, and beds, among other belongings.
In the place live minors with very low resources, orphans or with families that cannot take care of them.
They had just donated clothes for the season and some food, but everything was lost. The fire even reached two vehicles that were parked nearby.
