In Tuscany, another 59 cases of positivity and zero deaths

In Tuscany there are 11,175 cases of coronavirus positivity, 59 more than yesterday with an average age of about 34 years and, for 65%, asymptomatic. Of the 59 new positives, 11 cases can be linked to returns from abroad, of which 1 for reasons of vacation (Spain), plus 3 contacts from recent returns (2 Malta, 1 Croatia). 11 cases can be linked to returns from Sardinia, 4 from other Italian regions. One case refers to a citizen residing outside the region whose positivity was notified in Tuscany.

Those recovered reach 9,056 (81% of total cases) while the number of swabs performed rises to 496,708, 4,129 more than yesterday. The currently positive are today 980, + 5.6% compared to yesterday while there are no new deaths. These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. There are 3,460 total cases to date in Florence (14 more than yesterday), 597 in Prato (3 more), 794 in Pistoia (6 more), 1,124 in Massa (9 more), 1,490 in Lucca (5 more), 1,007 in Pisa (3 more), 526 in Livorno (4 more), 758 in Arezzo (6 more), 471 in Siena (2 more), 441 in Grosseto (6 more). There are 507 positive cases reported in Tuscany, but residing in other regions (1 more).

The people hospitalized in beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 42 (6 more than yesterday, plus 16.7%), 7 in intensive care (1 more than yesterday, plus 16.7%). 1,139 remain
the deceased since the beginning of the epidemic: 417 in Florence, 52 in Prato, 81 in Pistoia, 174 in Massa Carrara, 145 in Lucca, 91 in Pisa, 63 in Livorno, 50 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena, 25 in Grosseto, while 8 people died in Tuscany but were residents outside the region.- .
