Recently, archaeologists dug in the ancient city of Aizanoy, the remains of which are found in Turkey. They found an almost complete statue of a man and stone heads of Eros, Dionysus, Hercules and some other characters from ancient mythology.
Archaeologists noted that two years ago a headless statue of Hercules was already found here. Therefore, they assumed that these were fragments of the same statue, but the finds did not match. According to the researchers, the age of the excavated artifacts is approximately 1800-2000.
