Al-Marsad Newspaper: Lawyer Shaima Al-Thaqafi said the penalty for marrying a foreigner is a fine of up to 100,000 riyals if the marriage contract is not documented.
And he added, during an intervention with the “mbc” channel: The Saudi regulator has set sanctions in this sense, and if the wife is a foreigner, entry into the Kingdom could be prevented, and the sanctions could also affect children.
And he continued: There are many fraud and extortion operations in this matter, and the perpetrator will be referred directly to the competent authorities.
He continued: Marriage should be documented and not random, as social media is currently doing and promoting.
