In the United States, an increasingly deadly fourth wave

Across the Atlantic, the number of deaths linked to Covid-19 has increased significantly in recent days, reaching an average of 1,500 deaths per day. The consequence of the spread of the Delta variant, more lax behaviors and an insufficient percentage of vaccinated in some states, according to the Washington Post.

“Every time humans have underestimated the virus and let their guard down, deaths have increased.” After a year and a half of the pandemic, the Washington Post learned this lesson.
