In the real photo, the world’s first phone with a 200 MP camera

A Samsung presented it last year the world’s first 200-megapixel camera for phones. The company has not revealed a specific timetable, but industry insiders initially expected the new ISOCELL HP1 sensor to debut in a Xiaomi smartphone this year. Since then, however, there has been some change, with Xiaomi supposedly switching to a 50 MP Sony sensor for the 12 Ultra, so another manufacturer could be the pioneer in the megapixel war.

It has been heard for some time that Motorola will use the 200 MP camera sensor for the first time instead of the Xiaomi. It’s a top model codenamed Frontier, which has now come to light in a seemingly real photo.

The Motorola logo is clearly visible on the back of the phone, and in addition to the cameras, it is clear that the 200 MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor is serving in the device. The aperture is f / 2.2, and the optical stabilizer is not left out.

In addition to the huge 1 / 1.22-inch main camera, there are two other sensors on the back, one that will certainly be an ultra-wide-angle solution and the other a telephoto optic.

After the Motorola Frontier, of course, you will find a 200 MP sensor in other phones. Chances are next year that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with something similar, and it is possible that Xiaomi will eventually release it on one of these devices.
