These include some snapshots of their journey through Africa, but not of an official nature. These photos are clearly made for personal use. We can also see photos of Meghan’s pregnancy, which have never been shared before. But the most striking aspect of all these images is the intimacy that emanates from them. Harry and Meghan share a kiss in the kitchen or in a photo booth. We see the couple happily dancing at their wedding and making silly faces in front of the camera.
Each of these photos, had they still been part of the strict British royal family, should never have seen the light of day. For them, sharing such images is a serious breach of protocol, which states that royals are not allowed to show romantic affection in public. So there’s a good chance that the documentary, which has been given the simple name of “Harry & Meghan”, questions the workings of the monarchy.
The documentary will be available worldwide on Netflix from December 8th.
