The comet will be visible in the early morning for the next few days, Weeronline reports. Until December 13, the morning is ideally suited, after that you have to go outside in the evening to see a glimpse of the comet.

Naked eye
Astronomers expect the comet to be best visible around December 10 when the sky is clear. You should then look to the southeast early in the morning. It is not certain whether the comet will actually be visible to the naked eye. Weeronline: “Comet Leonard is a diffuse object and therefore more difficult to see than a solid object.”
But don’t worry: with the help of binoculars on a tripod or a telescope you have a good chance of spotting the comet in clear weather.
From December 19, Leonard can no longer be seen in the Netherlands.
