Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department (RD IKSD) informs that on August 17 at 11.00 in Riga 64th Secondary School (primary school premises, Burtnieku Street 34) a joint combined entrance examination for additional vacancies in 10th grade in Riga Municipality general secondary education institutions in the 2020/2021 school year will be organized.

With the result of the combined combined entrance examination, the student will be able to apply for vacancies in the 10th grade in the following secondary schools:
- Riga 10th Secondary School;
- Riga 22nd Secondary School;
- Riga 34th Secondary School;
- Riga 49th Secondary School;
- Riga 64th Secondary School;
- Riga Secondary School No. 84;
- Riga Secondary School No. 89;
- Riga Jugla Secondary School;
- Riga Purvciems Secondary School;
- Riga Ostvalds Secondary School;
- Riga Center Humanitarian Secondary School;
- At the Nordic Gymnasium;
- Riga Imanta Secondary School;
- JG Herder at Riga Grizinkalns Secondary School;
- Riga Secondary School of Culture.

The addressee of the joint combined entrance examination is a 9th grade graduate who wishes to enroll in those Riga general secondary education schools that have determined the result of the entrance examination as a competition criterion for admission of students to the 10th grade.
The aim of the combined combined entrance examination is to comprehensively assess the conformity of the knowledge and skills acquired by the 9th grade students – applicants in the general primary education program to the chosen general secondary education program. The entrance examination consists of two parts – mathematics and a foreign language, it will be done in writing, and the time for completing the tasks is two astronomical hours. The combined combined entrance examination must be accompanied by an identity document and stationery.
It is possible to register for the entrance examination until August 16.

The results of the joint combined entrance examination will be published from 18 August at 12 noon on the websites of the above-mentioned schools, as well as on the RD IKSD website www.izglitiba.riga.lv.
