A website that specializes in CT and X-ray imaging has released a set of images that it says are of two lungs infected with the emerging coronavirus.
Signs of the disease, which were apparent in the X-ray, showed great similarities between Covid-19 and the SARS virus that infected China in 2003.
X-rays revealed the presence of spots in the lungs, and the site said that those spots are the ones that reveal the disease when the patient performs the first test or when doctors suspect that he is infected.
The site stated that “the magnetic imaging of the respiratory system of a 54-year-old woman showed that the color of these spots is white.”
Another magnetic imaging showed on the chest of a 44-year-old Chinese patient, with white spots, which made doctors confirm that these spots are really “the actual embodiment of the corona inside the lungs.”
The man, according to the website, was working at the fish market in Wuhan, China’s epidemic center, and there he was infected.
The patient last December was placed under quarantine, after he complained of a large chills accompanied by an acute dry cough, after which he was diagnosed with acute pneumonia, and he died a week later.

After his death, lungs were imaged and the same white spots appeared again.
The white spots appeared as well, the site adds, on the lungs of a 45-year-old Chinese woman from Sichuan Province who died of the virus when it first began spreading in early January.
It is reported that a recent study confirmed that “chest CT scans are better than laboratory tests in the diagnosis of corona at an early stage.”
This made doctors confirm that the CT scan should be the primary method of examination when suspected of corona to accelerate early diagnoses.

The new Corona virus has killed at least 5,347 people from its appearance in December to 5 p.m. (GMT) Friday, according to an toll released by Agence France-Presse.
Since the epidemic, more than 140,720 infections have been recorded in 124 countries and regions.
This number does not ideally reflect reality, as countries adopt a rather limited examination policy and statistical standards.
From the last count until Thursday at 5pm GMT, there have been 422 deaths and 9,265 new infections worldwide.
Countries with the highest number of deaths in 24 hours are Italy (250), Iran (85), and Spain (36).
In total, mainland China recorded 80,813 injuries, of which 3,176 died and 64,111 were cured.
On Thursday and Friday, there were 20 injuries and 7 new deaths in the country.

In the rest of the world, as of 17:00 GMT Friday, a total of 2171 deaths (415 new) were counted out of 59,915 injuries.
The most affected countries after China are Italy (1,266 deaths out of 17,660 injuries), Iran (514 deaths out of 11,364 injuries), Spain (120 deaths out of 4,209 injuries) and South Korea (67 deaths out of 7,979 injuries).
