From Monday, January 18, people over the age of 75, and living at home, are affected by the second phase of vaccination against covid 19.
Since Thursday evening, and the announcements of Jean Castex, we know that people with pathologies to “high risk” can also be vaccinated against Covid-19 from Monday in one of the “700 centres” vaccination open from that date in the territory, said the Prime Minister.
Nearly 800,000 people “suffering from particularly serious diseases” may receive the vaccine, especially people “suffering from severe renal insufficiency, those who have been transplanted from an organ, people undergoing treatment for cancer or even those with trisomy 21”, detailed the Minister of Health Olivier Véran during the weekly press conference of the government. The list also includes some rare diseases, the ministry said.
“These people can make an appointment at the vaccination center of their choice”, precise the ARS, the Regional Health Agency of Pays de la Loire ,.
Registrations for vaccinations begin this Friday January 15, via Sante.fr (site inaccessible at the time of writing). The ARS asks the public concerned to book preferably online “whenever possible” so as not to saturate the telephone lines.
Possibility also to make an appointment on Doctolib. “Specific support systems are put in place in conjunction with local authorities to help people unfamiliar with digital technology”, specifies the prefecture of Loire-Atlantique.
“On site, the caregiver who will carry out the vaccine will ask you a few questions or will have you fill out a very simple questionnaire to check that you can be vaccinated. As a precaution, medical surveillance will be provided after the vaccine, for 15 minutes”, specifies the ARS.
“When they are over 50 years of age and / or have comorbidities, health professionals and other professionals from health establishments and medico-social services working with vulnerable people, home helpers working with vulnerable elderly and disabled people and firefighters, can always be vaccinated in dedicated centers “, adds the ARS.

Should you be vaccinated if you have had the Covid?
“The High Authority for Health believes in its recommendations of December 17, that there is no need to systematically vaccinate people who have already developed a symptomatic form of COVID”, specifies the ARS Pays de la Loire, “However, in accordance with the preliminary recommendations of November 30, these people must be able to be vaccinated if they wish following a decision shared with the doctor. In this case, it would then appear preferable to respect a minimum period of 3 months from the onset of symptoms “.
