In Moldova, two undeclared drones were found in the luggage of a Ukrainian

At the airport in Chisinau on Saturday, during customs control, a Ukrainian citizen was found with two drones, which he did not declare.

It is reported by “European Truth” with reference to TVR Moldova.

Employees of the customs post of Chisinau International Airport carried out an additional inspection of the luggage of passengers traveling on the Istanbul-Chisinau route.

As a result, two new drones of the DJI Mavic 3 model, not declared to the customs authorities, were found in the luggage of one of the passengers.

The defendant in the case turned out to be a 30-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who upon arrival at the airport chose the “green corridor”.

Customs officials seized the drones, which are now subject to confiscation, and the man faces a fine.

In recent weeks, checks on arrivals have intensified in Moldova in connection with the threat from Russia, which seeks to destabilize the situation in the country. So, earlier this week at the airport in Chisinau, people were noticed who allegedly trained in Turkey to organize riots at protests.
