An accident occurred this Saturday morning on the D946 near Marle in the Aisne. It was 10:40 a.m. when a motorist heading towards Marle swerved into the left lane, crashing into an oncoming vehicle.
The impact was frontal and violent. The drivers of both vehicles were injured. They were transported to Laon hospital. The victim who was in the hit vehicle is 77 years old. His vital prognosis was not engaged at the time of his transfer to the hospital according to the authorities.
The driver of the first vehicle, meanwhile, tested positive for alcohol.
