In just three days of opening, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show draws in over 190,000 visitors.

[대한경제=강주현 기자] The ‘2023 Seoul Mobility Show’, which opened on the 31st of last month and celebrated its first weekend, was a success with visitors who came to see new cars and future mobility in person.

The Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee announced on the 2nd that about 190,000 (provisional) people visited the exhibition hall by the 2nd of the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, the third day of the opening.

Seoul Mobility Show is the only international exhibition in Korea accredited by OICA, and is the largest mobility industry exhibition in Korea, which started in 1995 and is held every two years. This year, 163 companies and organizations from 12 countries around the world participated, and various mobility-related products and technologies such as automobiles, UAMs, drones, and electric scooters can be seen.

Recently, in recognition of its symbolism as a representative exhibition in Korea, it was selected as one of the ‘100 K-Culture Tourism Events’ promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

Inside the showroom, you can see new cars unveiled for the first time in the world, such as EV9, Torres EVX, Sonata the Edge, and Wolf, as well as Gostrobotics Technology’s The Vision 60 and Tesla’s humanoid robot Teslabot.

Many visitors also gathered at the e-mobility test drive, traffic safety experience event, and car test drive events held by finished car brands such as Renault Korea Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Genesis, where they could experience personal mobility, electric bikes, and electric bicycles.

Park Chan-il, who visited the showroom with his children in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, said, “I visited the Seoul Mobility Show because children are usually interested in cars.

Lee Jung-sil from Suwon, Gyeonggi-do said, “I visited with my family because there were many electric cars on display, and there were many events to participate in, especially the robot dog. My child loved it very much.”

Haehoon Cho from Yangju, Gyeonggi-do said, “I came to see the new cars unveiled for the first time at the Seoul Mobility Show, and I was able to obtain various information, which helped me study my major.”

The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held until April 9 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, under the theme of ‘SustainableㆍConnectedㆍMobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution).

The viewing hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and until 18:00 on weekends.
