In Japan, they named local crossovers with excellent handling

In the past, cars with sharp handling were called “sports”, but in the modern world, when cars have diversified, the scheme “excellent suspension and sharp steering – this is a sports car” is not always true.

Japanese experts from the BestCarWeb portal, who had the opportunity to test all local crossovers and SUVs, named several representatives of the SUV segment that can boast excellent handling.

The first Japanese crossover that came to mind for the testers was the Nissan X-Trail. The car, which recently changed its generation, received a flattering review from two experts at once, who stated the following:

“Sometimes Nissan makes masterpieces. Yes, the car is not perfect, but in terms of the quality of suspension preparation, the new X-Trail is the best among the others over the past 20 years. Its chassis and steering provide maximum flexibility and a balance between high ride comfort and agility.”

Another Japanese crossover with good handling was called the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

This is how experts from the “Land of the Rising Sun” described his behavior on the road:

“In its normal state it is a car focused on economy and eco-driving, but if you want and press the gas pedal, it will perform like a sports model. Its all-wheel drive system makes you feel like you have a huge amount of grip on the road, which adds to the driving pleasure.”

But the list doesn’t end with these crossovers. The rating of Japanese SUVs with good handling according to BestCarWeb also includes: Toyota Harrier

which according to testers has excellent balance front and rear, and thatsay the Honda ZR-V, Mazda CX-5plus two at once SubaruCrosstrek and Forester.
