In Chateaubriand, college students create their mini-business – Gourin

“We are organizing this action for the first time in our establishment. It concerns third-year students who are not going on an internship, ”explained Émilie Fontaine-Thétio, the principal of Chateaubriand college in Gourin. Thursday 18 and Friday 19 February, the objective was to mobilize the students around an innovative project. They adopted an idea around the environment and the sale of electric bicycles and created their mini-business with the help of a worker from the “Entreprendre pour savoir” program, Maxime Le Padellec.

Then, they presented their project to a jury made up of professionals, in particular from the banking sector, the mayor Hervé Le Floc’h, and the principal. The four students, Ulysse Gourier, Constance Allain, William Gayaud and Noa Macé, surprised the jury.

Imagination and creativity

“I think we showed a good team spirit and we divided the tasks to move faster,” explained William. “You have mastered your subject and you were not disturbed to answer the questions of the jury,” congratulated the mayor. “You have shown a lot of imagination, creativity”, rejoiced for its part the main.
