More than 25,000 rapid tests have been applied by specialized health personnel in the 12 municipalities of the Barinas state to rule out positive cases of Coronavirus and guarantee protection to the people of the llanera entity.
The Commissioner of Health, Luis Eduardo Camejo, reported that thanks to timely compliance with health protocols, the result of the application of the tests has been mostly negative.
The day is in charge of health workers, mainly in the sentinel hospital Dr. Luis Razetti and in the Maternal Child Dr. Samuel Darío Maldonado, both located in the capital municipality, he said, according to information from the Venezuelan News Agency.
Camejo said that together with commissions from different organizations, the Barinas government maintains visits to communities to raise awareness among the llanera population about the importance of complying with preventive measures and respecting quarantine.
