In an extraordinary meeting, the Riga City Council will decide on the allocation of 10 million euros for street repairs

In total, the restoration of street surfaces is planned in 19 places, and the total cost of the projects is estimated at 10.3 million euros. In order to implement the planned works, the municipality plans to borrow 8.7 million euros from the State Treasury.

Resurfacing is planned on Kārļas Mīlenbacha Street from Lastādijas Street to Dzirnavu Street, Cēsu Street, the section of Pärnavas Street from Augusta Deglava Street to Brīvības Street, the section of Biķernieku Street from 12 to 40A of Biķernieku Street and the section of Pulkveža Brieža Street from Hanzas Street to Elizabetes Street.

Surface renewal is also planned for the section of Gustava Zemgala gatve from Únijas street to Brīvības gatve, the section of Biķernieku street from Lielvārdes street to Ulbrokas street, Lubānas street from Andreja Sakharova street to Brāļu Kaudzīšu street, Jugla embankment from Brīvības gatve to Pāles street and Juglas street to Murjāņu street .

Resurfacing of the roadway of the Mīlgrāvja Bridge transport hub and the part of the roadway up to Emmas Street, restoration of the asphalt surface on Emmas Street, Meldru Street and Atlantijas Street, restoration of the surface of the Southern Bridge and its approaches, restoration of the surface of the section of Sesku Street from Ilūkstes Street to Dārzciema Street are also planned.
